The four organizations involved in the project FYCIC met in Spain to plan a joint intervention to promote interculturality in Europe.
From 23rd to 27th September, Cantiere Giovani, Sarean, Aventura Marao Clube – Casa da Juventude de Amarante and Društvo za razvijanje prostovoljnega dela Novo mesto met at “Sarean, Espacio cultural comunitario” in Bilbao, Spain, to plan a common strategy to make Europe more inclusive and open to cultural diversities, moving from the experiences in the local communities.
In the next months the organizations will perform intercultural activities in four countries with hundreds of young people, including those with fewer opportunities (asylum seekers, refugees, young bearing cultural differences..)
These pilot activities will contribute to the realization of guidelines for the transition of youth centres in Europe into intercultural centres.
